Motherboard.tv accompanied news of the Walkman demise with this video. I love Walkmans, and I love monkeys. But monkeys who like Walkmans kind of freak me out. Good thing it’s only a commercial!
Sony is on a death march. The once powerful gadget maker sort of killed the floppy disk earlier this year, and, it’s now being reported by Gizmodo, has also ended production of the cassette Walkman. The news came out one day ahead of the iPod’s ninth anniversary on October 23.
