Filmmakers, musicians, and visual artists have an endless variety of gewgaws to acquire in the name of enhancing their craft. Writers got nothing. Paper, ink and pen are the only tools that directly flatter our own creativity and even that is a level removed. These days, no one commits a literary masterpiece to creamy stationary with their name on top.
