Meet the Swinger, the Polaroid Swinger! Has a sexier commercial ever been made?
I found this when I was researching OBSOLETE’s the section on Polaroids. I can’t remember if I mentioned it or if the mention got cut in edits. I’d go check but the book is on the other side of the room. Amos! Go get book! Good boy!
Reader Larry Boer reminded me of this gem. He wrote me a nice email and even attached a photo of his own swinger camera posing with the book. (I just put his keychain in the mail). Boer also writes me:
“Doesn’t ‘You’ve got mail’ sound like something your grandparents heard?”
Yes Larry, it does. Indeed, it seems almost quaint to call it just “mail.” It’s as if, way back when, AOL didn’t want to confuse people by adding the “e.” Or maybe the letter just hadn’t yet been invented.
