In recent weeks, about seventeen people have said to me, “Have you seen the guy who made a cell phone out of a rotary phone?” Nope, I haven’t. it seems, however, that there may be more than ONE guy. Some of those guys might even be girls.
Over at SparkFun Electronics I found this guide to turning your old rotary phone into the heaviest damn cell phone you’ve ever used. Useless, awkward, clunky? Yes, yes, and yes. Awesome? Very.
Looks like this project could take some time. So you better get crackin’: my birthday is only three short months away!
