My friend and general girl-crush Melena Ryzik (aka the NYT’s Urban Eye) did this funny piece on… people who make siren sounds and visit from the moon. All in a day’s work. BUT, did you know: visitors from the moon take direction via typewriter? Yuh-huh!

Silly Banana Republic: Don’t you know that manual Typewriters can’t write in two different kinds of fonts? Just joshing you, Banana, old friend—I like this ad. The store has a whole MadMen tie-in right now, so I’m guessing that this is supposed to be MadMen-ish (even if the typewriters on the show all appear to be electric…)
